Conquer the Peloponnesian Mountains through E4 long distance path

E4 long distance path starts from the Pyrenees Mountains in Spain and ends up in Cyprus. In Greece, the path is divided into three sections: the northern, the middle and the southern section.
The southern part traverses mythical Peloponnese. It starts from Diakopto, Achaia, goes through Arcadia and finishes in Gytheio, Laconia.

The Peloponnesian part of the E4 European long distance path takes us through regions of exquisite natural beauty and historical significance, traditional villages and magnificent forests.
It is not required to have a mountain guide because the path is signposted providing any trekker or climber the ability to become acquainted with the Greek culture, the diversity of landscapes and the wealth of Greek nature.

It is ideal in spring, summer and autumn in order to catch the sun in the shade of the mountain forests.
Local volunteer groups and climbing clubs are responsible for the preservation of the path every year.
Here, you can find detailed information about the routes and holiday packages for trekking & sightseeing for the first part of the Peloponnesian E4 path from Diakopto to Tripoli (125km).
Enjoy the Greek hospitality; get a taste of scrumptious Greek dishes; listen to the sounds of the mountain; release your senses… The journey has just begun…
